Challenge? What challenge?

Some days ago, totally by chance, a fursuiter I was following at Twitter retweeted a sketch that an artist called Foxer421 were done to his reference sheet.
From the next hours, I even CRIED. What happened is because Mr. 421 managed to create a character that was so perfect in his trace that I thought severely to quit mine, or even quit drawing.
That was just a sketch (VERY well done, I just CAN'T show my sketches or commission it) showing him with an IPad and some kind of drink, in a very natural posing, all very well done, including by a detail: the character holds his hindpaws very casually (not forcedly as I do...), and this drove myself crazy, because all that was just perfect, unlike all my tryings to do the same with my characters.
Happily or unhappily, concerning to all my anthro character's feet, I created a non-existant standard to them that even I don't know how it is exactly. This is the most original feature of my style, whose only flaw was being referenced on animations, not on real animals, that I never observed at my 15's when I started to make characters like these.

I said that Zicky was "destroyed". Maybe is not the right word, even because, until now, Mr. 421, that is not at DeviantArt, not knows what happened. I tried to talk something, but I didn't knew what to say. OF COURSE I would not mention the hours of despair...

And I decided to draw one of my characters doing something like.

Today I tried to just wipe all of them and make everybody 5/4 fingered/toed unlike the 4/3 scheme I always did. And give them claws, and another details that everyone loves. But I couldn't. Maybe other time. I must to show how characters purely anthro'ed looks like in my trace, to attract more commissioneers. My characters are based on animated cartoons, with many lesser details.

I even had a conversation at Facebook with another people, after I talked about this in a video, that suggested me to absolutely try to "vitruvianize" my characters, and stop with these ultra-large hands and feet thing (that only happens with four characters from more than 30!)
But after a worse day AGAIN, with more arguments with my family and extra works, I ended with this Zicky Zeera, with his unreal proportions, in a pose that, if it's not the same, that's not so bad at all. IDK.

Despite all of this, I'm really thinking on doing some changes in Rosalyn's kernel. Now I need to stop crying and start to drawing, even when I'm a garb... whoops, average artist.
