Thanks =aeolus06, ~DJWill and *ProjectENDO by the feedback. (This is a gallery of honor, as all others!) What these pictures got in common? Now you'll know: Since I started creating my own characters, in 1993, I used a something geometrical trace, influenced by Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes (even when BW doesn't make it exactly). And it continued when I noticed that this could be a trend. Later, in 1994, I also noticed that the characters in "Mighty Max" were something like that, eg., this also were a trend on animation. Many years later, when I discovered, already on the Internet, the art of Herbie BearClaw, and some years later, Jen Seng (dA's Zillabean), this feature was very present and this were one of the reasons I like them so much. In 1993 I didn't had a style. Now, I can say that I have it. But I still coulnd't draw this way, as much as I tried to imitate it. My attempts seem false, it seems it's not me, whatever. If there is any written or unwritten rule to draw that way, I have not yet discovered. (Every day I think that nothing in this universe has so many unwritten rules as drawing.) Like I said, I try to draw more geometrically and the result is not good. And why I want to do so? Why I do not get my dash as it really would be something else ... uh ... shaky? Because this is the style of my characters, action, movement (although there are elements in the middle that contradicts this). It's very curious, i wonder why my dA's favs are most in styles that doesn't are like my own, as manga, anime and American comics, aside French-Belgian cartoon comics. I had some discussions with some people, and many of them they seemed to want me not to seek this style. But I always thought: why not?! WHY THE F@#% NOT, if so many people does this that way?! So I put the cards on the table and show here on this site through this section, as there are people who draw like this and people love their works. To understand even more about it and see more pictures this way, please see the works of :iconratonviejo: (that, aside drawing that form, doesn't write any comments on his works...) If you have anything to say about all of this, for or against, please leave a comment below. :)
